About me (if you're curious).
I've been a tarot reader for more than 17 years. I've read as a volunteer, on and off, for the ATA's Free Tarot and Free Reading Networks.
I came to the tarot as a nervous, curious practitioner; I come to those who ask for readings as though they're both nervous and curious, too.
I really do think tarot readings can help us become active participants in our lives. I really do think they're a positive, empowering, exciting thing.
I really don't know how it works or why it works as well as it does. But I rather like not knowing.
In my life outside tarot, I'm an instructional designer and an award-winning playwright. And strange as it sounds, both of those things have made me a better reader. Instructional designers create learning events for adults. Tarot is a learning event. Playwrights tell active, engaging stories. Tarot readers do, too. There's amazing synchronicity in that.
